" As an ex fire-fighter serving 10 years at Windsor fire station and a good friend to a lot of people within the community I can understand the importance of having a professional team of fire-fighters operating a 24/7 system within the Windsor area. There is too much emphasis on money and not enough thought on reality when dealing with people’s lives. Even though I work in the cold climates of the world now I fully support my friends and colleagues at the station and encourage others to do the same"

Mike Golding

"As a former Fire-fighter based in Berkshire I spent some time serving at Windsor Fire station, the local area has a unique mix of historic buildings, industry and residential, downgrading fire cover will offer a lower level of safety for these residents of Windsor and the surrounding areas. I can't believe that this is desirable? and I support the team at the station in their efforts to maintain the first class service that only a full time fire crew can give." Mike Golding
