Annual Conference


The governing body of the FBU is the annual conference. The union’s policy is decided by delegates elected from branches, regions and the union’s sections. Policies decided at conference are carried out by the Executive Council (EC), elected from the regions and the sections.

The importance of Annual Conference is stated clearly in Rule 7 (1) of the FBU Rule Book:

“The supreme government of the Union shall be vested in the annual Conference, and/or recall conferences and the decision of which shall be binding on all members.”

Annual Conference 2011 Record of Decisions:
